Small Projects Foundation

The grassroots initiatives run by SPF in peri-urban Eastern Cape use participatory approaches to assist communities in identifying needs and finding solutions, then work with communities to plan, implement, and achieve their goals in a systemic way.

SPF takes a community-centric, multi-faceted approach to youth development.

Their work with young people includes a combination of sexual and reproductive health education in schools, job training workshops, peer education, community mobilization, gender-based violence response, support for youth to stay in school, health system strengthening, and adolescent-friendly health services training for clinic staff.
